PS. Warm up: This month I forgot it 2 times and i lost in this 2 sessions..could be random. But i feel better with the warmup

What is your hands-to-review vs total hands played in a session ratio?
  • FlyingDutchm1n

Thanks for talking about this subject Skod. Asked you a question in your other video (3betting without aa or kk) wanted to ask if you can look at it (don't know if you still look at older threads for posts)...thank you

Hey guys, thanks for the positive feedback. I wasn't really sure how this video would be accepted, i'm glad u like it.
#5 it depends hah... For example when i move up to a stake i would mark 40 hands out of 400. But when i'm comfortable at a stake, with reads on most players, then it's usually like 20 for 1000 hands imo.

#6 I take a look at the old videos every week, so just be patient and the answer will come. If it needs immediate attention, send me a PM.

Hi Skod just wondering if you cared to share with us what your biggest sustained downswing was (so not in one session but over a certain amount of time/ hands) and how you responded to this. Was hoping to hear about this in your video but didn't so hope you feel like sharing still. Small comment on the video is that at one point you say like $500 is enough to play 25plo but then you say "50 buy ins is enough" just wanted to let you know that was a small mistake that confused me I guess you meant to say if $500 is enough to play 10plo and that you could even take a 4-5 BI shot at 25plo with $500...correct???
  • Skodljivec

well the point is that if you are confident, you can take a shot with 500$ at plo25, because if you take a 4bi shot and loose, you still have 40bi at plo10. And if you are a good player, that is confident in his play, it should be enough.

My biggest downswing? Well i had quite a few 20bi dowsnwings, the biggest one that hasn't happened while taking a shot was probably 25 bi. What did i do? Took a few days off, and that was that. I don't think there's much alse you can probably.

When i had my biggest dowsnwing i evaluated my game a bit, and got an expensive coach. That helped quite a bit.

Thanks for the answer Skod! I have been running pretty bad in all in confrontations but can't change anything about that so just trying to continuously improve my non all in plo game. Just heard your voice in an online interview about plo coaching, I can recognize your voice out of millions :)

Hah, that's great to hear :D Yeah keep doing your work, it will pay off sooner or later if you don't give up at the half of the road.
